Not at all. This is a full immersion experience where you'll spend the weekend with your mentors and other sound photographers, talking photography, business and having a lot of fun! 

Rooms are shared between 3-4 attendees to encourage networking and camaraderie.

The Newborn Masterclass is designed for all levels of professionals. We've had incredible beginners who spent the weekend with us and left ready to set up their business. As well as seasoned photographers who needed a boost and left the Masterclass with a whole new set of strategies and skills to apply to their businesses.

All you need is you camera and lens (50mm and/or 35mm OR 24-70mm | f/1.2 or f/1.8) for the live newborn session with Trine-Lise, some gym clothes for our morning yoga and an open mind. The Newborn Masterclass is all about connecting and helping each other grow!

It was an incredible weekend of education, and I met amazing people. Everyone was welcoming, and regardless of where we were on our journey, no one was left out.

Terms & Conditions

Newborn Masterclass 2024

  • Shared Accommodations: Rooms are shared between 3-4 attendees to encourage networking and camaraderie.
  • Meals Included: All meals during the retreat are included in the price.
  • Portfolio Images: Attendees will be encouraged to photograph the live newborn session to practice and will be allowed using their images for their portfolio and marketing. It's important to note that attendees sharing images on social media and business marketing shall identify those as part of the of the Newborn Masterclass training.
  • Non-Refundable Deposit: The €500 deposit is non-refundable and secures your spot in the masterclass. If you can't attend you can resell to another student for the same price initially paid.
  • Balance Payment: The remaining balance is due by October 1st, 2024.
  • Attendee Expectations: All attendees are required to be open and supportive of one another, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
  • Payment Plan: The payment plan option consists of three payments of €500 each. Please contact education@newbornsbylidi.com for more details.
  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made before October 1st, 2024, will be eligible for refund of any amount paid above the non-refundable deposit (€500).  Cancellations made after October 1st, 2024 will  not be eligible for a refund.
  • Travel and Insurance: Attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements and insurance. The organisers are not liable for any personal injuries or losses during the retreat.
  • Content Sharing: Attendees may be photographed or recorded during the masterclass for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to the use of these images.
  • Health and Safety: Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or medical conditions in advance to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
